Showhome Design
We were invited to design the show home interior & terraces for a new property development in Greenwich for developer U+I.
The 16 Signal Townhouses are located on the Greenwich Peninsular on the site of Enderby Wharf which first manufactured ropes for the navy before moving into production of telegraph cables.
Our concept was to create a modern, warm, stylish feel for this beautiful 3 bed / 3 storey house, a space where buyers would see themselves living in harmony with the existing victorian terrace houses and the new modern blocks in the neighbourhood. The main idea was to collaborate and showcase interior homewares from local designers and makers so as to celebrate the vibrancy, creaftsmanship and creativity within the local area.
Being so local to this project and being able to create the interior and terrace spaces, produce one off prints for the space and use homeware products from our store iyouall in Deptford was very special for us. We then produced a collection of goodie boxes for a select group of bloggers which included small items from lots of the makers we collaborated with for this project. Being involved in different aspects of a project is always very interesting for us here at the studio and creating a consistency within a project is key.
